Dr Melita Azarcon
Osteopath
Melita graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor in Science, majoring in Human Physiology and Human Structure & Function. She then completed a double Bachelor in Health Science and Applied Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University.
After graduating, she moved to Hobart (Tasmania) where she gained valuable experience working as an associate at a busy osteopathic clinic treating people from all walks of life – from city dwellers to farmers; children to elderly; international visitors to Tassie locals. Whilst she loved her time there, Melbourne is her home and she moved back to Victoria in early 2020 where she then became part of the WRH team.
Melita treats every patient in a holistic manner, and takes into account personal goals and habits. She has a keen interest in treating headaches/migraines, neck and jaw pain, as well as back complaints, largely due to her own experiences. She also enjoys treating patients throughout their pregnancy and post-partum journeys. She has completed training in Level 1 & 2 Dry Needling.
Outside of work, you’ll find Melita spending time with family and friends, at the dog park/beach with her two mini dachshunds, or trying to figure out meal ideas and activities for her toddler.
