Pediatric and Early Childhood Osteopathic Care

Our team in Melton and Bacchus Marsh provide osteopathic care for babies and young children, supporting their health and development during these early years. Using non-invasive techniques, we help address a variety of concerns to promote comfort, function, and overall growth. Our clinic also maintains close relationships and an ongoing referral base with many local Maternal Child and Health Nurses, Midwives, Lactation Consultants, Paediatricians, Obstetricians and Dentists who specialise in tongue tie frenectomy.

Clinical experience is invaluable when it comes to the management of infants and we appreciate just how important these first few months can be. As a result we have established an internal program at Western Region Health requiring all practitioners to gain at least two years of valuable, supervised experience in observation, assessment and treatment before being able to consult with infants.

How Osteopathy Can Support Your Child

Osteopathic care focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure and function, helping to restore balance and enhance the body’s natural ability to heal and grow. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals ensures your child receives well-rounded and individualized care.

We have been thrilled to watch some of these children growing into wonderful adults and are proud to have them as lifelong patients of Western Region Health, now treating their own children.
